Stormwind was always a bustling city, from the break of the sun to the rising of the Moon and the Blue Child in the sky. Stormwind was the crowning jewel of the Alliance, bustling with people from all parts of  Azeroth. Adventurers came here to list items on the local auction house, new recruits frequently came by to grab a drink at the Blue Recluse and repair their armour at the Blacksmith, and the city was one of the most popular places to register for guilds and list tasks for mercenaries.
